Paul Keogh's housing essay published in Irish Times

Paul Keogh's essay Housing is the Fabric of our Communities was published in the Irish Times on May 28th 2016.

Making the case that repeating the planning mistakes of the past by building the 100,000-plus houses that the nation needs going forward in low-density suburban and rural locations is not sustainable, Paul argues that the urban model most likely to promote people's health and wellbeing is the mixed-use neighbourhood that enables people to go about their daily routines without a car, increasing both their physical activity and the level of social capital within communities.
