Woodfield House. Co. Meath
This house was designed to accommodate a young family on a green field site in rural County Meath.
A contemporary interpretation of the local vernacular architecture, the house is designed to minimise energy use and environmental impact using solar panels, a wood pellet boiler and stoves and a plan configuration which maximises solar gain and daylight.
Woodfield house has recently been featured in the Meath Rural House Design Guide as an exemplar of contemporary rural design.
