Structure

PKA is a medium-sized practice with two partners - Paul Keogh and Rachael Chidlow - who lead a team of architects, technologists and graduates that bring a unique blend of creativity and expertise to every project undertaken by the practice.

Since the foundation of the practice, our policy has been that every project is managed personally by one or other of the partners, and that the designated partner takes responsibility for overseeing every aspect of the commission - including key client meetings, design development, progress reviews, and construction stage inspections.

Under the direction of the partner-in-charge, the project architect and other members of PKA's team are given responsibility for particular aspects of the design and construction stages: design development, production information, tender action, team co-ordination and site inspections.

Our reputation over three decades ensures that PKA attracts staff of the highest calibre. The design skill and professional expertise of our team have been essential to the practice's capacity to undertake projects of every scale and complexity.

Ensuring that all design and management activities are carried out under the direction of a designated partner gives clients a direct line of contact that ensures successful responses to clients' design, budget, time and contract management requirements.
